For men Gokhan Uzuntas, for women Arzu Sagnak won Long Course (97 km) in Salcano Gran Fondo Marmaris Cycling race. For men Alper Koroglu and for women Esra Gokcek were first in short course (65km). The Salcano Gran Fondo Bike Race, organized by Argeus Events with the support of the Municipality of Marmaris, has come to an end. Marmaris Mayor Ali Acar gave the start of the race which started in front of Turkmenistan Park in Ataturk Avenue and ended in the same place.

In the race, which only amateur bikers participated, there were two different categories and races were held as 97 km long and 65 km short course. In the race 482 cyclists raced from USA, UK, Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, Netherlands, Ireland, Azerbaijan, Yemen and Iraq, along with Turkey.
In the 97 km long track, Gokhan Uzuntas was the first with 3.02.31, İsmail Cavusoglu was the second with 3.13.35, and Egemen Mercanlıoglu was the third with 3.13.42. In the same race Arzu Sagnak was the first with 3.56.15, Fatma Sezer was the second with 4.07.20 and Kubra Bektas was the third with 4.22.48.
In the 65 km short track for men, Alper Koroglu was first with 2.04.38. Ozan Yavuz was second with 2.10.04, Sedat Keskin was third with 2.10.05. In the same track Esra Gokcek was first with 2.31.12 of women, Azize Bekar was the second with 2.31.12 and Ozge Seckin third with 2.35.34.
