UCI Cycling World Road Championships 2017

Cycling supporters mainly two sides, some says France has the best tour ever some says Bergen is hosting best tour which is on road.

Cycling World Road Championships 2017 made the supporters happy again. Slovak Professional road bicycle racer Peter Sagan made the history with winning his third UCI Cycling World Road Championship tournament. Race had a great competiton and winner had declared photo finish technology.

Norway’s Bergen city hosted the UCI Cycling World Road Championships 2017 and Slovak 28 years old became the owner of gold medal at the road race.

There were great sprints at the last meters of the race but main competition between Norwegian Professional road bicycle racer Alexander Kristoff and Peter Sagan. Peter Sagan had passes his competitor with photo finish tecnology. Peter Sagan finished the race in 6 hours 28 minutes and 11 seconds. That timing brought him a gold medal.

Peter Sagan succeed to won UCI Cycling World Road Championships in a row. He is the only one who made this throphy collection. He is still holding his rainbow jersey since 2015.

Peter Sagan’s great competitor Norwegian Professional road bicycle racer Alexander Kristoff had to get enough with silver medal and Bronze medal went to Austrailian Michael Matthews.

Following his win at the 2017 UCI World Road Race Championships, Sagan will wear the Rainbow Jersey for the duration of 2018 for an unprecedented third consecutive season. He currently represents the German team Bora-Hansgrohe beginning in 2017.
